Episode 71 – Prelude: Passing of the T-Bone

Hello, Finding Japan listeners! The show will go on. Host emeritus Christopher has passed the show on to Terrance and everyone’s favorite bovine personality T-Bone Taro from the former Kobe Beef Show (if you have no idea who T-Bone is just nod for now).

In this episode I introduce myself a little, talk about future plans for the show, and Christopher and I do some catching up and chit chat about things in general, Japan, and FJ. Enjoy!

  1. Go Terrance! Love that you kept the Pthalo music. Also, my favorite part of the old FJ was the cell phone audio sound scene tours.

  2. Wow I just listened to the episode and it’s me who sent you an email asking for the Kobe beef episodes 🙂 I have been a fan of finding Japan so I am happy you are taking now!

    1. Thanks for the comment and for sending the email. Sorry for not getting back to you. I wasn’t ignoring you, just had things in the works. It’s still a work in progress but I hope you’ll keep listening.

  3. Just discovered the podcast ,and I love what I hear . I was wondering at some point if you could speak on the current mood in japan as it relates to foreigners . I have been reading about club Harlem discriminating and no dance policies in night clubs. People in forums are saying japan is not as fun and as accepting as it used to be. I have been contemplating moving to Tokyo for 3 months to learn the language and experience life there as a resident. I have visited briefly Tokyo and Yokohama, about right eight years ago.

  4. Great to see this podcast continue! Terrence, I never had the chance to check out your previous podcast but I really enjoyed your first Finding Japan–hope to see more coming soon.
